29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level was not protected from falling to that lower level:    1055-1057 Main St., Holden: On or about August 26, 2020, 2 men were observed roofing this commercial building form a carpenters bracket scaffold without any fall protection, 11 feet above the ground below.     Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29CFR1903.19(d)(1).

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): When portable ladders are used for access to an upper landing surface, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder is used to gain access:    1055-1057 Main St., Holden, MA: On or about August 26, 2020, 2 men were observed climbing from an aluminum extension ladder to the upper landing surface (scaffold) which was around the corner from the scaffold and did not extend the required 3 feet past that upper landing surface.     Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29CFR1903.19(d)(1).
