29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about August 27, 2020, employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 16.5 feet while performing masonry activities on a commercial building located at 884 E. Steel Corners, Stow, Ohio 44224. The employees were working on the upper level of the building and the employer did not ensure that they were using fall protection.
