29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a)  On or about August 27, 2020, and at times prior thereto; six employees were engaged in building walls at the far ends of an unfinished third story subfloor of a three-story complex, and were working less than six-feet from the edge of the floor edge; exposing employees to a fall from 17 feet to ground.  Note* Abatement certification AND documentation IS required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury:  a)  On or about August 27, 2020, and at times prior thereto; a crew of six framers were engaged in building walls at the far ends of an unfinished third story subfloor of a three-story complex, and were working less than six-feet from the edge of the floor edge without fall protection; employer did not instruct framers on exposure to fall hazards while working in areas other than roofs to include but not limited to hazards associated with floor edges, building out subfloors, and standing up walls.    Note* Abatement documentation AND certification IS required for this item.
