29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest system. a) 141 - 147 West Broad Street, Hazelton, PA, 1820 (Altamont building): An employee was throwing large pieces of duct work near the edge of a low-slope roof, approximately 31 feet high, into a trash dumpster located on the ground level and was not protected from falling 6 feet or more above a lower level by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest system on or about August 26, 2020.
