29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c).  (a) On or about 8/27/2020, at the construction site located near Lot 18 Overlook Circle, Hartland WI, an employee was performing work in an approximately 5 4/10 feet deep excavation without adequate cave-in protection, thereby exposing employees to a struck-by / crushing hazard.
