29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Jobsite, building B: On or about August 28, 2020 and at times prior thereto employees were exposed to fall hazards while accessing various upper levels of the units. Guardrail systems were not in place in areas with open sided floors, including but not limited to, stairway openings and balcony doors. JCB Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1157746, citation number 1, item number a, and was affirmed as a final order on November 10, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 4595 Stamm Lane, Nampa, ID 83687. Note) Certification AND documentation of corrective action is required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail and one stair rail system along each unprotected side or edge: a) Building A and B: On August 28, 2020 and at times prior thereto stairways used for access to the upper levels did not have handrails in place or stair rails installed on each open sided set of stairs. Note) Certification of corrective action is required for this item.
