29 CFR 1926.21(b)(3) The employer did not instruct employees who are required to handle or use poisons, caustics, and other harmful substances regarding the safe handling and use, and be made aware of the potential hazards, personal hygiene, and personal protective measures required. (a) JHL Constructors, 475 Highlands Circle, Erie, CO 80516: On or before August 31, 2020, the employer did not ensure that each employee who was conducting work that exposed them to respirable crystalline silica while drilling holes in concrete was made aware of the potential hazards, personal hygiene, and personal protective measures required. The condition exposes employees to respirable hazards associated with respirable crystalline silica.
