OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to crushed-by hazards:  (a) On or about 08/28/2020 - Maintenance shop area, employee(s) were exposed to crushed-by hazards when a DESHAZO overhead crane was accessible and utilized for moving sheet metal weighing approximately 60 pounds.  Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard would be to follow the company policy to ensure the DESHAZO overhead crane is locked out when not in use to prevent access by unauthorized users.
