29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Top of the roof and on roof above front fascia: On or about September 9, 2020, and at times prior, two roofers were exposed to fall hazards of nine (9) feet to the ground below while performing roofing activities on a commercial building having a 10/12 roof slope, in that use of proper fall protection was not enforced where Black Diamond, Alpine model climbing harnesses and lanyards were provided and used for fall restraint.
