29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) Block 106 A-G, Waterfront Place, Pittsburgh, PA: On or about September 9, 2020, employees working on a residential roof were not protected from falling to lower levels. (b) Block 106 A-G, Waterfront Place, Pittsburgh, PA: On or about September 9, 2020 employees working on and near the terrace of each townhome were exposed to falling approximately 27 feet to the ground below. (c) Unit D, Waterfront Place, Pittsburgh, PA: On or about September 9, 2020, employees working on the third floor were exposed to falling approximately 8 feet over the edge of the stairways due to the lack of a guardrail system.
