29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite-specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use: West Suburban Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LLC, located at 311 Edgewater Drive, Bloomingdale, IL 60108: On or about July 19, 2020 through July 31, 2020, the employer did not establish and/or implement a written respiratory protection program with worksite-specific procedures for respirator use that included all the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i)- 1910.134(c)(i)(ix). The employer required employees to wear N95 respirators (3M Model Aura 9210) throughout their shifts while exposed to suspected or confirmed positive COVID-19 residents when performing tasks such as, but not limited to, feeding, bathing, maintaining continence, inserting and maintaining IV's, and conducting assessments for the residents. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
