1926.451(c)(2)(iii): The employer did not ensure unstable objects were not used as working platforms. WORKSITE: An unstable object was used as a working platform on a ladder jack scaffold, in that the wood plank used as a working platform was not secured on both sides by a rung bracket jack, but instead rested loosely on top of a ladder rung which was lower than the rung on the opposing ladder and caused the work surface to tilt down on one side, during tasks such as (but not limited to) mortar removal using a handheld grinder (xi).
