29 CFR 1910.133(a)(2): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used eye protection that provided side protection when there was a hazard from flying objects: a) Chop Room: Employees sprayed chopped fiberglass and resin onto spa shells, and the employer did not ensure that these employees wore side shields on their eye protection, as discovered on or about 09/17/2020. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED Abatement Note: Detachable side protectors (e.g. clip-on or slide-on side shields), meeting the pertinent requirements of this section, are acceptable.
