29 CFR 1910.1030(h)(5)(i)(A): The employer did not maintain a sharps injury log that contained at a minimum the type and brand of device involved in the incident: a) St. Luke's University Health Network - Sacred Heart Hospital - On or about August 31, 2020, employees suffered recordable sharps injuries and were listed on the employer's sharps injury log, but the recorded incidents from 2018 to 2020 did not contain information as to the type and brand of device involved as required by this section. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
