29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, nor was an alternative fall protection plan which meets the requirements of 1926.502(K) developed and implemented: 1) 24183 East 2nd Place, Aurora, CO 80018: On September 22, 2020, Reyes Roofing, LTD did not protect its employees from falls while engaged in a residential re-roofing job. Four employees were observed performing roofing tasks on a building that was two stories tall with a roof pitch of approximately 8:12. Employees were not wearing personal fall arrest systems while performing these tasks. Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").

The portable ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface.
