1910.217(c)(3)(i)(b) Preventing the operator from inadvertently reaching into the point of operation, or withdrawing his hands if they are inadvertently located in the point of operation, as the dies close; or (a) Bliss Mechanical Press - On or about September 24, 2020 the employer did not ensure the light curtain device used to guard the point of operation for the 600 ton Bliss mechanical power press were properly applied and adjusted to provide protection, exposing employees to amputation hazards.
