29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Exterior Storage Building Under Construction (Rear): An employee engaged in metal framing work at the roof's edge of a three story building, was exposed to fall hazard of approximately 32 feet above the ground surface, without a personal fall arrest system or other means of fall protection. The employer did not ensure that employees were protected from falling by the use of a personal fall arrest system or other means of fall protection, thus exposing employees to a fall hazard, on or about 9/25/20.
