A witness on site (Yaauon Fain) also stated that the metal roof shingles also slid off of the roof and hit the employee while he was on the ground.  The employee was not protected by a hard hat or protective helmet, on or about September 23rd, 2020.   NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
