29 CFR 1926.501(b)(2)(i): Each employee who was constructing a leading edge 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) On October 7, 2020, an employee was working on the second floor of a new residential building without fall protection, exposing the employee to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet to the lower level.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: (a) On October 7, 2020, an employee was working at elevated levels without the use of fall protection. The employee was not provided fall protection training, which included instruction on how to minimize fall hazards and implement fall protection methods.
