29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt was not worn and a lanyard was not attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift: (a) Drive-Through Side of Building - An employee worked from an aerial lift to do caulking at the corner of the building. The employee did not wear a harness and lanyard and attach to the boom or basket of the lift for fall protection, exposing the employee to the hazard of falling to the ground below, on or about October 8, 2020. Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
