29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i):The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator was competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l): On or about October 9, 2020, and prior, the employer did not train all employees who operate powered industrial trucks exposing employees to hazards associated with the unsafe operation of forklifts. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
