29 CFR 1926.602(a)(9)(i):Bidirectional machine(s) were not equipped with an operable horn, distinguishable from the surrounding noise level, which could be operated as needed when the machine is moving in either direction. a) South end of the V.A. on Bryan Road. A Caterpillar wheel loader, model 924 G, ID number 90617 was used to bring pipes and trench shield systems to the open trench which was cut into the roadway, the loader was not equipped with a functioning horn.
