29 CFR 1926.501(a)(2): The employer did not determine if the walking/working surfaces on which its employees were to work on, had the strength and structure integrity to support employees safely. Employees were allowed to work on surfaces which did not have the requisite strength and structural integrity: 34 Fox Run Rd, Bolton, MA: On October 19, 2020 and at times prior, the employer allowed employees to work from a temporary work surface that did not have the strength and structural integrity to support the employees safely. On October 19, 2020, an employee was injured when that temporary work surface separated from the supporting wall and dropped eight feet to the next lowest level.
