29 CFR 1910.176(b): Material stored in tiers was not stable and secure against sliding and collapse. a) Facility: The employer did not ensure that storage racks were stable and secure. Racks that product was stacked on had damage that caused twisting or bending that could compromise the stability of the racks. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): Powered industrial trucks found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition. a) Facility: On or about October 19, 2020 a forklift in need of repair had not been taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition. A forklift was being operated with broken or non-functioning lights on the rear and front of the fork lifts without another functioning warning system, making it more difficult to determine when a forklift was approaching. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
