29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  a)  At 2664 Golf Mills Ct., Lot 19 Links Crossing (Front of House), Auburn, Alabama:  On or about October 20, 2020 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to use a ladder to gain access to the first level roof and the rails of the ladder did not extend at least three feet above the roof landing to provide safe access exposing his employees to a fall hazard of up to 9.9 feet to the ground below.  b)  At 2664 Golf Mills Ct., Lot 19 Links Crossing (Roof of House), Auburn, Alabama:  On or about October 20, 2020 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to use a ladder to gain access to the second level roof and the rails of the ladder did not extend at least three feet above the roof landing to provide safe access exposing his employees to a fall hazard of up to 9.9 feet to the ground below.   c)  At 2664 Golf Mills Ct., Lot 19 Links Crossing (Rear of House), Auburn, Alabama:  On or about October 20, 2020 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to use a ladder to gain access to the first level roof and the rails of the ladder did not extend at least three feet above the roof landing to provide safe access exposing his employees to a fall hazard of up to 25 feet to the ground below.

THE OLMAN REYEZ ORTIZ DBA OLMAN REYEZ ORTIZ WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.102(A)(1) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1328804, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON SEPTEMBER 7, 2018,  WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 204 FLAGSTONE PLACE, LOT 60 STONEWOOD FARMS, AUBURN,  ALABAMA AND IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1425650, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON NOVEMBER 27, 2019,  WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 2701 GOLF MILL COURT, LOT 1 LINKS CROSSING, AUBURN,  ALABAMA .
