29 CFR 1926.100(a) Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: a) Jobsite: On or about October 21, 2020 and at times prior thereto, an employee performed clean-up work on the ground 16 feet below roofing tear-off and installation activities overhead. The employee was exposed to a struck-by hazard from roofing debris and tools falling from the roof. The employee was not wearing a hard hat. Note: Abatement certification is required for this item.
