29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1):The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  a) Oso's Construction, LLC, at a jobsite located at 924 Burtwood Lot 356, Pataskala, Ohio 43062: On and/or preceding October 21, 2020, the employer did not ensure employees wore safety glasses while utilizing power tools that presented struck-by hazards to the eyes and face. Framers were using pneumatic nail guns and circular saws in the framing process. The employees were not utilizing eye protection, which exposed them to struck-by hazards to the eyes.

The path to ground from circuits, equipment, and enclosures shall be permanent and continuous.  a) Oso's Construction, LLC, at a jobsite located at 924 Burtwood Lot 356, Pataskala, Ohio 43062: On and/or preceding October 21, 2020, the employer did not ensure employees who used extension cords were protected from electrical contact hazards. Framers were using an extension cord with the ground prong missing from the male end of a cord, which exposed the employees to a 125 volt electrical contact hazard.

29 CFR  1926.20(b)(1):It shall be the responsibility of the employer to initiate and maintain such programs as may be necessary to comply with this part.  a) Oso's Construction, LLC, at a jobsite located at 924 Burtwood Lot 356, Pataskala, Ohio 43062: On and/or preceding October 21, 2020, the employer failed to initiate and maintain a safety and health program such as but not limited to a personal protective equipment program, electrical safety program, and a fall protection program for employees conducting framing work.  Oso's Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1467039, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 27, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 2001 Edison St, Newark, OH 43055.

Oso's Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1467039, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on April 27, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 2001 Edison St, Newark, OH 43055.

Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.  a) Oso's Construction, LLC, at a jobsite located at 924 Burtwood Lot 356, Pataskala, Ohio 43062: On and/or preceding October 21, 2020, the employer did not ensure employees were adequately protected from falls while engaged in residential construction activities. Employees was framing the second story without any means of fall protection, thereby exposed to fall hazards of up to 12 feet 4 inches.  Oso's Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1467039, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on April 27, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 2001 Edison St, Newark, OH 43055.
