29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator(s) and other employees in the machine area from hazards created by: a. Line 1: On or about October 23, 2020, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to hazards associated with moving parts of machines, in that all openings around the stacker machine were not guarded to ensure that employees could not place their hands or arms into the machine which stacks the roofing paper rolls on pallets. b. Line 2: On or about October 23, 2020, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to hazards associated with moving parts of machines, in that all openings around the stacker machine were not guarded to ensure that employees could not place their hands or arms into to the machine. c.
