The use of a body belt in a tethering system or in a restraint system is acceptable and is regulated: a) 1350 W, West Interstate 65 Service Rd S. Woodspring Suites; On or about October 26, 2020 and at times prior to the employer exposed employees to fall hazards in that the employer required that employees use a boom lift to access the roof of a hotel that was forty feet in height without requiring the use of a body belt exposing the employees to fall hazards.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) 1350 W, West Interstate 65 Service Rd S. Woodspring Suites; On or about October 26, 2020 and at times prior to the employer exposed employees to fall hazards in that the employer required that employees work on a roof of a four story hotel that was 40 feet in height with a 5/12 pitch removing and replacing damaged shingles and did not enforce the use of fall protection exposing the employees to fall hazards.
