29 CFR 1926.601(b)(14): All vehicles in use were not checked at the beginning of each shift to assure that the following parts, equipment, and accessories were in safe operating condition and free of apparent damage which could cause failure while in use: service brakes, including trailer brake connections; parking system (hand brake); emergency stopping system (brakes); tires; horn; steering mechanism; coupling devices; seat belts; operating controls; and safety devices. a) 11 Eglise, Big Sky MT 59716: On October 27th, 2020 employees were exposed to struck by hazards while constructing a concrete footer for a retaining wall with a Ajay Mack Concrete Pump Truck (USDOT 2267324, License Plate # 31-3783B, Yellowstone Club Access Pass #3311). The truck slid off the outrigger pad due to inclement weather causing snow and ice build up.
