29 CFR  1910.303(b)(2):Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling:  (a) Metals Digestions - On or about 10/27/20, two SC100 HotBlocks were plugged into a relocatable power tap surge protective device, Tripp-Lite model no. TLP 808, operating at 120 volts and 15 amperes.  Each SC100 HotBlock operates at  120 volts and 9 amperes.  The power tap was plugged into a dual outlet receptacle.  HotBlocks are not to be used as a substitute for permanent wiring.  HotBlocks were not used or installed in accordance with instructions in the listing or labeling.  b) Metals Digestions - On or about 10/27/20, Two SC100 HotBlocks were plugged into a relocatable power tap surge protective device, Tripp-Lite model no. TLP 808, operating at 120 volts and 15 amperes.  Each SC100 HotBlock operates at  120 volts and 9 amperes.  The power tap was plugged into a dual outlet receptacle.   Employees were using the power tap switch to turn the HotBlocks on and off.   HotBlocks were not used or installed in accordance with instructions in the listing or labeling.  ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

The employer did not notify employees of monitoring results withing 15 working days after the receipt of any monitoring results.  ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
