29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a) On or about November 3, 2020 the employer failed to ensure that effective machine guarding was in place on the two In-Line Packaging Systems Inc. bottling systems (lines 1 and 2). The front plexiglass barrier guards were capable of being open during machine operation.   b) On or about November 3, 2020 the employer failed to ensure that effective machine guarding was in place on the Line 1; In-Line Packaging Systems Inc. bottling system. Effective machine guarding was not in place on the automatic capping area of the line. The mechanical movement of the ram and cap installer was not protected.
