29 CFR 1926.1419(a)(1):29 CFR 1926.1419(a)(1): The employer did not provide a signal person when the point of operation, meaning the load travel or the area near or at load placement, was not in full view of the operator. a) Glen Iris Lofts: On September 30, 2020, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards in that the employer did not ensure the designation of a signal person to guide the operator of a hydraulic truck crane as they hoisted roofing materials onto the roof of a 4-story residential building.
