29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.   Bear River Band, Tish Non Village Apartments Construction:  The wooden platform that connects the east apartments units to the west apartment units was not provided with a guardrail to prevent employees and subcontractors from a fall hazard of approximately nine feet.  A subcontractor  was observed walking on the wooden deck, without any type of fall protection, and was exposed to the fall hazard.

On September 11, 2020 an employee standing on the third rung of a six foot step ladder lost his balance and fell while reaching to cut the excess wood from the gable overhang, injuring his wrist.
