29 CFR 1910.23(c)(9):29 CFR 1910.23(c)(9): The employer did not ensure that portable ladders that are used on slippery surfaces are secured and stabilized. Worksite: The ladder used by an employee was set up on a wet slippery surface without being appropriately secured to prevent displacement. On or about November 12, 2020 the ladder the employee set up on a wet slippery outdoor surface was displaced and the employee fell approximately 6 feet off the ladder and sustained a twisted ankle injury to the right ankle.
