On the west side of the construction site, employees engaged in framing activities use pneumatic nail guns and were not wearing eye protection exposing them to struck-by hazards and injuries.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b). On the west side of the construction site, employees engaged in framing work without fall protection were exposed to unprotected fall hazards of approximately 18 feet to the lower level. Jose Rolando Romero was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1231494, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on June 12, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 4204 Mimosa, Melissa, Texas 75454.
