Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a) Alejandro Martinez, at a jobsite located at 7125 Sea Breeze West, Building 5, Sunbury, Ohio 40374: On and/or preceding November 18, 2020, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls while engaged in residential construction activities. Employee were framing a new construction apartment building while working from the top plate of the walls, thereby being exposed to fall hazards of up to 9 feet.
