29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that was 4 feet or more above a lower level was protected from falling by one or more of the following: guardrail systems,safety net systems or personal fall arrest systems: a) Workplace, Receiving Area- While unloading steel I-Beams, an employee stood on a flatbed trailer (48") and on top of a stack of 6 I-Beams (36") thus exposing him to a fall of approximately 7 feet from the beams to the ground below; on or about 11/24/20. Note: In addition to abatement certification the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
