29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail systems, warning line system and safety net system, warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: (a) Commercial Roofing Systems, Inc. at 905 Highway 133, Carbondale, CO 81623: On and before July 1, 2020, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from injury while working on a low slope roof of a commercial building, in that employees conducting detail work around the skylights of the Large Retail Building, were not utilizing a fall protection system. This condition exposed the employees to a fall hazard of approximately 25-30 feet at the front edge of the building.
