29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person: a) 3403 Cade Ct: On or about November 30, 2020, four employees were exposed to crushing hazards such as unsecured, moveable vertical supports with aging and weathering of the temporary structure between construction phases while assigned to perform work under a patio cover that had not been inspected for defects that could result in a collapse of the structure. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).

29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: a) 3403 Cade Ct: On or about November 30, 2020, four employees were exposed to hazardous work assignments such as crushing hazards such as unsecured, moveable vertical supports with aging and weathering of the temporary structure between construction phases while assigned to job sites without the necessary training to identify hazardous conditions and take appropriate measures to report or correct the condition. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
