29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): The point of operation of machines whose operation exposes an employee to injury, shall be guarded:  (a)	Gonzales Firewood & Tree Service LLC, 5th St. and Harrison St., Walden, CO 80480: On or about November, 30, 2020 the employer did not ensure the discharge end on the Rapido Loco Simonds Circular Blade Firewood Processor was effectively guarded.  An employee sustained an amputation injury when he was removing split wood from the discharge end of the machine while it was in operation.  His hand was caught in-between the frame of the machine and a piece of wood that was being discharged.  This condition exposed employees to laceration and amputation hazards.
