29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1):Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: At 1040 N. Union St. Council Grove, KS., employees engaged in powder coating activities were exposed to chemicals including but not limited to Traffic Gray RAL7042 which can cause eye irritation, skin irritation, and vomiting in that the employer had not provided employees with effective information and training on the hazardous chemicals in their workplace. 29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1) requires certification that the abatement of the above violation is complete.

Union Street, Council Grove, KS, employees engaged in powder coating operations were exposed to chemicals including but not limited to Traffic Gray aerosol spray which can cause eye irritation, skin irritation and vomiting in that the employer did not ensure that employees required to use a tight-fitting facepiece respirator passed the appropriate qualitative or quantitative fit test. 29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1) requires certification that the abatement of the above violation is complete.
