29 CFR  1910.219(f)(3):Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven (7) feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed:  a) Parker Hannifan Corporation dba Baldwin Filters at 1901 Hastings Drive in Yankton, SD 57078: On or about and at times prior to December 15, 2020, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from pinch-point hazards created by chains and sprockets used on the conveyor feeding the Andelus Model: IOP Seamer S/N:6779867. An employee suffered a fingertip amputation after their finger became caught between a upstream sprocket and chain of the conveyor system. This condition exposed employees to pinch-point hazards.   Abatement Note:  Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
