29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) At 212 Ananias St., Lot 19 Walters Branch, Troy, Alabama: On or about December 28, 2020 and a times prior; the employer allowed his employees to perform roofing activities without fall protection exposing his employees to a fall hazard of 9 feet 6 inches to the ground below. Sergio Tum dba Sergio Tum was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1498570, citation number 1, item number 1, group a and was affirmed as a final order on December 1, 2020 with respect to a workplace located at 1823 Cannongate Dr., Lot 31 Cannongate, Opelika, Alabama.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) At 212 Ananias St., Lot 19 Walters Branch, Troy, Alabama: On or about December 28, 2020 and a times prior; the employer allowed his employees to perform roofing activities without first ensuring his employees were trained on the hazards associated with falls to include but not limited to setting up and inspecting fall protection exposing his employees to a fall hazard of 9 feet 6 inches to the ground below. Sergio Tum dba Sergio Tum was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1498570, citation number 1, item number 1, group b and was affirmed as a final order on December 1, 2020 with respect to a workplace located at 1823 Cannongate Dr., Lot 31 Cannongate, Opelika, Alabama.
