29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system. Building "C" - Employees were performing roof work in the center of the flat roof, using a safety monitor. However, they did not have a warning line system in place on the roof that is wider than fifty feet. The employees were working on a roof between 65 and 70 feet in height from the ground below. Glidden Roofing Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1338249, citation number 01, item number 01, and was affirmed as a final order on 09-20-2018, with respect to a workplace located at 55 Maine Mall Road, South Portland Maine 04106.
