29 CFR  1926.502(f)(4): Mechanical equipment on roofs shall be used or stored only in areas where employees are protected by a warning line system, guardrail system, or personal fall arrest system.  On or about December 30, 2020, an employee was exposed to fall hazards while they used a snowblower  on the roof a new five story residential construction to clear the roof of snow prior to other roofing activities. The employee was not operating the snowblower behind a warning line system or guardrail system and was not connected to a personal fall arrest system.
