29 CFR  1910.138(b):The employer did not base selection of appropriate hand protection on an evaluation of the performance characteristics of the hand protection relative to the tasks to be performed, conditions present, duration of use, and the hazards and potential hazards identified:  (a) The employer did not provide the appropriate hand protection for employees that perform housekeeping activities in work area  using hazardous chemicals including but not limited to Elite Glass, Elite HD which contains phosphoric acid, Opta Destain which contain sodium hypochlorite, Opta Clean, Opta Soft, Clorox Bleach, exposing employees to chemical burns.
