29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding were not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  Worksite - On or about January 5, 2021, employees working with the Baileigh Industrial press brake were not protected from point of operation hazards where the opening to the clamp was one inch and they are required to place their fingers within approximately one half inch of the clamp to hold metal in place. This resulted in the partial amputation of an employee's finger when it slipped into the one inch space while clamping metal.
