29 CFR OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were not protected from a caught-in/struck by hazard: a) Tunkhannock, PA: Employees were exposed to a caught-in and struck by hazards while working around the two SMETCO sorter conveyors that were not equipped with adequate emergency stop devices, on or about January 6, 2021. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
