29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i):The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: (a): Facility - KB Roll Line machine- The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure. The energy control program did not include periodic inspections to ensure the requirements of the standard were being followed. Maintenance is performed without following energy control procedures. An employee sustained lacerations when reaching inside the machine to clear a jam without following energy control procedures, on or about January 6, 2021. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
